Beauty and pregnancy

In a frank breech, the baby's buttocks lead the way into the birth canal.

The hips are flexed, the knees extended. This increases the chance of

forming an umbilical cord loop that could precede the head through the cervix and cause injury to the baby if it is delivered vaginally

  • During pregnancy, your body produces more estrogen, and the sudden increase can throw your skin out of balance.

  • Rapid weight gain and an expanding belly can cause dry, itchy skin and stretch marks.

  • Sunscreen should be used all the more during pregnancy, as the skin is more sensitive during this time and should be protected against the sun’s ultra violet rays which can  dry your skin, make you look older, break down your skin cells and even give you skin cancer.

  • Cleansing the skin well is necessary because the skin on the face tends to be oilier during pregnancy. This could lead to clogged pores if skin is kept dirty and not cleaned regularly.

  • All pregnant women should use moisturizer to protect their skin and to keep their skin soft and supple. Bear in mind that the drier your skin is, the more prone you are to itchiness, so at all times, give your skin a drink.
